went out to the range yesterday, i had moved my scope back about 2 inches, so I needed to resight the rifle. Scope fell off last fall! and i put it back on way too far forward. My groups before making the scope adjustments were all over - i dont think i could get consistent posture because the scope was set too far forward.
Now that I moved the scope, and got it sighted in at 100 yds. I am grouping about 2 - 3 MOA @ 100yds. I am using 180g winchester super x bullets. Is this good for this rifle?
I just cleaned it all up and got the patches to come out clean. First couple groups were bigger, but after 12 rounds the groups were all consistant at 2-3 MOA with the occasional user error flyer.
