If I had known Wanstall's had that on their rack, I would have bought it in a split second for that price!!!...one of my hunting partners shoots a Remington 700 BDL in .270 Win with 130 grn. handloads and every deer he has shot with it has gone down quickly and has not gotten back up!...looks like you did pretty good. I would sell off the SPS stock on here and order a pillar-bedded BDL-type walnut or laminated stock from Boyd's that matches better with the bluing to replace it, but shoot the gun and see how it does for now...I had a leupold M8 6x that I replaced with a 3200 elite 2-7 x 33, nothing wrong with that Leupold, wish I still had it.

p.s. your new rifle looks like an ADL, with the blind magazine, not a hinged floorplate like a BDL has.
