I'm starting to wonder if UPS isn't a better way to go?
No way, UPS is Gun unfriendly. List you item as a gun part. they'll send it back to the sender or trash it. Happened to me.

Good to hear they will get on the rebuild for you straight away.
Nice work on the knives Conan, I hope to get one for each of my kids some day. They are gorgeous!
As for the rifles, they are very nice too, they are on my "dream on list".
Hope it all turns out in your favor.

Thanks, I couldn't see going through all of the hassle of sending it back to Shiloh if I could do a good enough repair.Excellent job, Conan. By gum, I'd never know there had been a crack there.
FRAGILE, pronounced FRAH'GEE'Lee. Italian for "stompa da sh** outtta dis".
disclaimer: the above statement is not intended to reflect, in any way, any bias, biggotry, or racism of any kind to the Italian people.
It was intended to thoroughly Pi*s off the flaky folks who inhabit our postal outlets and, with complete malice and forethought, recklessly handle any package that is marked as being of a delicate nature.![]()
I just wanna say,....... I wish I had those beautiful works of art! Congrats mate! I hope you can get that stock replaced and I'd be talking to a lawyer if it were me!
I'll tell you folks, I won't send anything of value through our postal system! It's just not worth the hassle! I always use UPS for anything I'd like to treasure.
Conan....
Good job on the repairs....was wondering how you were going to handle that!
Shipping is why I went to the border to pick mine up. Dealing with Denise and Leroy @ Leroy's Big Valley Guns, and Danny Champanion was excellent.
I know you're a little outta the way for that, but Alberta/Montana makes a nice holiday!
