ATRS actions

GunBoy, they aren't just copying the 700 action, they are building a modified 700 action with extremely tight tolerances.

Now if I could buy a tight tolerance 700 action from Remington I would, But the fact is I can't because Remington builds production rifles, so we have a +- 0.002 run out on the barrel threads, or a +-0.003 misalignment on the bolt lugs, or other less than ideal machining because its impossible for Remington to make any money building a high tolerance action.

Now from what the guys at ATR have said is they want to be on the same level as Nesika, so we are talking +-0.0002 or less run out on the barrel threads, etc.

Now that being said ATR hurry up I want see these actions :D :sniper:

We are doing all we can to get actions happening. With luck later this summer the 1st production run will be available.

Not true! Troy said something kinda smart back there somewhere!

Somewhere like where?, you should get you head out of you ass, and stop kissing ass, if you got something intelligent to say, then let hear it, other wise stay side line...

Is it just me, or can you other guys make better sense of Gunboys penmanship when reading as though there was a French Canadian accent narrating? It really seems to work for me if I read it while doing my Cretien impersonation.

I would like to see us Anglos respond to him in his language. Somedays I can mange the English language with the best of them, I can only imagine what my French would be like...................

But yes he is damn funny, he sounds like most of the Frogs I work with in the DND.:D

People, settle down or the size 10 Boondocker comes out for a good ol' fashioned bootf*ck............

Be happy that Canadian businesses are starting to build stuff for us.................;)

SKBY.

Well, he sure as hell isn't an Anglo. What is he then, care to enlighten us.

With a name like ###XX and seeing him too many times at gunshows in Edmonton know he is Asian, of which nationality I do not know and do not wish to offend anyone. His english is difficult to understand at the best of times, but I do give him credit for at least trying to speak/write english.
English is said to be a very difficult language to master.
This is a better feat than I can accomplish, my being english speaking only.
I don't really count profanity as a second language.
I do have a very difficult time understanding his posts from a grammatical and word use point, and understand he has an opinion, I just do not understand why he keeps going on about things he has absolutely NO knowledge of, ie my business and what we are doing and when.

The entire point of my starting this thread was to inform the Canadian gun culture that we are starting to make actions that will rival the best, yet are made here in Canada. I thought it was better than hijacking some other manufacturers thread.
If anyone has specific questions please email me directly, this thread has taken too many shots and too much BS for me, I doubt I will be posting anything further until I have something to sell.
Cheers
Rick

No, No problem here, I will settle down and stop speaking French, So day I wish I was French!
I can't believe most doesn't have anything to say but Picking on the language that I speak or type, it just go to show that how signorine people really are, with out knowing the whole story.
When I said something about going back to school and hitting the book, Rick think That I am trying to insult him in someway, in fact if any one ever running CNC machine in the pass they would know, even the guy been running the machine for years would now and then go back to the book.

Well I have anything to say, I say it, stop jumping on the band wagon. that my point to Biguglyman,

and what the f**k does it have to do with, I am asking about 264 win mag, not 264 magnum, If I don't know, I will ask, I not going to BS about it.

and you should read at the beginning of the thread, insult go both way.

264 Winchester magnum and 264 necked down from a 7mm Remington magnum are the same cartridge.

" jumping on the band wagon" has has something to do with Big Ugly man's appreciation of a certain gunsmith's work.
if he wants to praise him, so be it - it is not for anyone else to critique.
And for the record Gunboy, I do not own a ATR rifle, nor do I plan to in the future - I'm simply commenting on what I have seen on this website about two people, and a third who my or may not be upstanding when it comes to trading , selling , and buying firearms...

Catnhehatt, why purchasing 7mm reminton magnum and turn it in to 264, when you can just get 264 brass, yet reminton make them, why not just leave the 7mm remmag as it, if I ever shoot 7mm rem mag.

I never critique him at first, only had input.

and If BigUglyman had a lot of appreciation for certain gunsmith's then so be it, and say something that are got a little intelligent, but don't go on be ignorant about it. Criticism go both way!

I've known Rick long enough to not have to suck up. And I'm sure that he needs no input from armchair gunsmiths who have, to my knowledge, never produced a self-built rifle for inspection by any member of this board. If you have the credentials to quiz a machinist about his trade, by all means do it. But I think we all know who the gunsmiths on the board are and who the internet experts are.

I think I speak for all when I say that unless you have something intelligent to add to the discussion, you should refrain from polluting the thread. Talking to hear your own voice is indicative of not having anything useful to say.

Rick you have put up with too much abuse here... I believe I speak for the majority of us, that "Alberta Tactical" producing those tight actions here in Canada is good news... good show! and keep us informed in your progress

RIck You Are so Full of Shiit, but you alway build you business around lies, Hopefully you follower will see in the future how you action turn out, maybe by christmas there be other un for see delay excuse, buying rem700 action and try to tune up the best you could probally the best you can do for profit turn around, but going to business and make you own action and compete with other is a far fetch, but it not imposible if you keep trying. So Good luck with the lies and BS, let see by christmas and how many action you have to sell!.

Gunboy, cease and desist immediately.

Any more disturbances from you and I will send you on a "vacation" from here.

If you are coming to this thread only to cause sh*t and stir the pot, you will be removed.

This is your one and only warning.

Rick: Don't take the bait....................;)
