ATRS actions

Humm the way I see it. the more manufacturers we have here in Canada the bigger we grow. the bigger our Sport grows the stronger we are and less dependant on our neighbours. I hope to see many more companys grow in the future. So Rick Build the actions all the power to you. We make the best rifles in the world right here in Canada.

Catnhehatt, why purchasing 7mm reminton magnum and turn it in to 264, when you can just get 264 brass, yet reminton make them, why not just leave the 7mm remmag as it, if I ever shoot 7mm rem mag.

I never critique him at first, only had input.

and If BigUglyman had a lot of appreciation for certain gunsmith's then so be it, and say something that are got a little intelligent, but don't go on be ignorant about it. Criticism go both way!

You neck the 7mag brasss to 264 so that you can shoot it in 264 Win mag rifle.
I was of the understanding that you had a problem getting preformed 264 brass.
I have several hundred in my reloading room don't have that problem....

I too would like to thank Rick for making the effort and helping to continue the growth of shooting sports, we need all the help we can get.

Gunboy, cease and desist immediately.

Any more disturbances from you and I will send you on a "vacation" from here.

If you are coming to this thread only to cause sh*t and stir the pot, you will be removed.

This is your one and only warning.

Rick: Don't take the bait....................;)

SKBY.

No, I wasn't going to touch that 1, I still have not deciphered his last post.
Maybe you can lock the thread, as this thread has become CRAP.
I will post info again when actions are closer to being avaiable.

I am going to clean this thread up tomorrow when I can read it all over....alot of bandwidth waste in here..lol

Does anyone currently use the name "sharpshooter"?It certainly fits the application.
Other possibilities would be ATR Canadian,or ATR Albertan.

Got the machine up and running, a couple of weeks ago. Spent today making muzzle brakes. Once we get the steel in, we can start on actions.

Now all I need is a name for the action, seems all the good 1s are used by others.
Any suggestions????

ATR-1, ATR-2, ATR-3, ATR-4, etc, for the various bolt face sizes and/or lengths.
