I had a 700 BDL rebored to 35 Whelen a couple of years ago. I had trouble with the shells feeding through the action. About 1 out of 40 rounds would jump sideways out of the action. This rifle was a DM model. I purchased another stock with a hinged floor plate and had it fitted to the barelled action. I can't even click one cartridge in the magazine. It just pops back out. I really like this rifle and would like it to function properly. Although, it hasn't fed well since day one, I have shot a lot of animals with it and it was a Christmas gift from my wife and it means a lot to me.
