Would you consider bringing in Norinco 97 bullpups? (Part Deux)

At a $800ish ticket price, would you buy a 97A bullpup?

CanAm wants a 100$ 'hard' deposit (meaning no refunds under any circumstances), the rifles won't arrive until December I am told.

I really want one, and if the deposit was 'soft', I would surely go for one.

Yes, there is really no reason to accept a soft deposit. We are trying to cut down on the number of tire kickers who place pre-orders, hence the "hard" deposit, and a freebie to compensate those who do place the pre-order. You of course can wait and simply order the gun when they arrive, but many like to get on a list so they don't miss out, hence the pre-orders.

think you guys might get the shorty ones in the future?
im not going to shoot gophers with it so a non-res version isnt really what i need but id take a shorty at that price over an AR for range fun

He throw in a free rail for the deposit. Guess he can charge 100$ for the rail alone.

I'll take a Type 05 for sure.

The yellow gloves are tightly controlled, sorry.

I have an End User Certificate for that. Dr. Lector has a certificate for the single rhinestone glove.

Correct me if I am wrong. The T97 uses standard M16 mag, as well as 10 rounds mags.

Yes it uses standard AR mags and ten rounders. The mags mine came with are the best Ar mags I have ever used..they are thicker steel and only work in the 97...all other AR mag work in the gun perfectly though.

CanAm if you can bring in more of those proprietary mags I'd buy some;)
