shipping ammo

OK I'm still confused.
I need to get a quote to ship some ammo. Do I quote it as a dangerous good?
Do I declare it a dangerous good when shipping but only write LQ-CG on the box?
Can somebody lay out the process step by step and sticky it?
It is not classed as DG. Just wrap it up and write what it is and lq-cc

I don't know. 2000 rounds of .223 is ~66lbs. That costs $120. Take the dimensions and weight to dhl.com and check their shipping calculator.
You need to get better rates. It costs us less than $50 to ship 27kg from Vancouver to St.Johns. But, walk in rates are much higher.

So I go to Canada Post. With a big heavy box. Wrapped up nice and tight. And ship it....do they know??
I have had quite a bit of ammo mailed to me. Mostly just 200-400 rounds or so.
Do I go to jail if I ship ammo with C.P? :)
