What's the OAL with the stock colapsed?

My 12.5" got here this morning. The "pro golf" sticker confused the hell out of the Canada post guy. He said "thought it was another gun. When did you start golfing" I told him'd just started, then I had a good chuckle once he left.

Now it's wearing a nice Remington wood stock, with 1.25" cut out of the LOP.

I always what to see a wood stock Griz. Can you post a pic please?

OAL with the Endine 5 position recoil buffer (also sourced from BBB at S&J Hardware), 30 3/4", fully collapsed, 34" fully extended.
A note on the Endine buffer tube; it's as good, if not better, than the Knoxx SpecOps at recoil reduction. Used it on my tube Grizz for the Tactical Response Fighting Shotgun course, and no wear on the shoulder,,,

It looks good, but that is pretty pricey setup, about $800 with the holosight? Not including the gun.

$800 W/O the gun or EoTech....

D**n....now I may have to order another (the folder, this go round...), just to get my other set of hardware deployed on a mag platform....

'Cept then I'll have to find a second EoTech...

ok. how do i get one of these mag fed beauties ! .. ill have to talk to the police about bringing it in, but will be possible. long as the barrel is an 18" version

I've got poor camera skills, but there you go. The recoil pad was Bubba'd, forend cut down to clear a sidesaddle(coming soon) and the stock shortened.

Took it to the range today, it's almost too much fun!

Here's mine from the first batch. It now wears a nicer buttstock from an old Wingmaster with the fleur de lis checkering....

I'm really trying to resist the pressure to sell it to pay for my newest gun.

Anyone know where to get a plain-Jane wood stock? No checkering or anything, Id like to try my hand at refinishing a stock and and plan on getting a shorty to put it on. I really like the look of it.

The synthetic stocks on the Grizzly is pretty solid. Has anyone weighed a Grizzly with synthetic and wood stocks? What was the weight savings and how much does a wood stocked Grizzly weigh?

I would look at guns shows, I often see a guy with a big old box full of wood stocks.
