New shotguns, MAG-FED and SHORTIES - NEW PICS

Well, I got my own 15" Grizzly Mag, and after a good look over I must say these are much better quality built guns than the last batch.
The action was very smooth, the barrels concentric, and overall nicely finished machining, and metal.
The name on the side almost looked to have been done by hand, but more probably a rushed pantograph operator.

Overall, I am very happy with it, and can't wait to get it cleaned up for shooting.
Thanks Chris!

As did I.
Swapped my 12.5 components (inc barrel...) onto the mag fed.

SJ rail, Vltor Modstock on Endine buffer tube, Ergo grip, Midway Flip ups, Ergo railed fore end, Fab arms folding front grip.

Do you have to let anyone know or re-register it or anything when you change the barrel length?

Question for Can-Am and the guru's. I just shot my buddies mag fed today (worked great I love that thing!) and the rear sight had three markings on it 1, 2, 3. Is this sight calibarated for 100, 200, and 300 yards using slugs? The 300 yard setting has you pointing at the moon so I assume that's the case?

Hey I have a dillema between 12.5 with bead sight and 12.5 with ghost ring sights.
So the question is can ghost ring sights be removed easily if I don't like them?
Thanks.

Can anyone answer this one for me?

Got my 12.5 yesterday, took it out in the back yard this morning ( I don't live in the City ). Set up target at 25 yards blew it all to hell. Fired one box of shells no problem. It fits great in my saddle scabbard. Will fit vertical at rear of the saddle and I can still get my leg up and over the the back of the horse. I have never carried a shotgun on the trail before looks like it will work fine. I have to have a 81/2 when they come out.

Hmmmmm How high would the 300 yd sight setting have to be on a slug gun with a 12 1/2" barrel?

ok. i'm curious. what are the advantages of mag fed over tube fed witha shotgun? other than the ability to carry multiple mags?

think while driving back to camp on your hunting trip you look out from the truck and see a ****(what ever your hunting) in a field off to the side, while your buddy is still pushing shells in his gun, you snap your mag in and take the trophy!

In Canada, you can't store shotgun loaded. A tube-feed shotgun needs several seconds to load up - NFG for home defence. With a Griz-Mag, you can load the gun in half second.
