Fg42 ?

No, that was right - $1000 - so think how impressed would I be when they come for a $10,000 rifle.

I understood what you meant. I couldn't imagine that either, let alone a rifle that cost as much as a cheap car. I think the rifle might get "lost" before they came to grab it.

Im still trying to find a buyer for my left testicle.

FS - Left testicle.

Well used, but functions great, tested daily, but never dry fired. Well cleaned and taken care of. Usual marks and dings from normal use. Finish is still at least 85-90%, but starting to show signs of aging. Cleaned after every use using generic corrosive system cleaning: hot water and soap, followed by a good drying. My woman finds this to be simple to handle, lightweight and easy to use, making it a great choice for female users as well. Sorry, no 3 day tryout guarantee, I assure you this item is as described.

Comes in free soft case that could be treated to remove wrinkles if you want. Any roughness can be removed with a bit of vaseline smoothed over by hand.

Price: 1 FG42

I've seen it/played with it, and it's a very nice piece of kit.
For the serious collector, especially for German stuff, this would be an outstanding addition if you want to walk the walk, instead of just talking the talk. Would you shoot an original FG42, probably not. This one is extremely good, and you wouldn't lose sleep about putting rounds down range with it.
Attention to detail is excellent.

For those true aficionados this is it. The other guys will rave about their "Norcs" and beach about the price.

Just one guy's opinion.

I agree having seen all 3 variants of the FG42 this is as close to the real one as most of us could afford get

The price crushes all that under the heeled jackboots of German overengineering and ridiculous cost.

The tooling costs for arms factories are recouped over hundreds of thousands or millions of units (Glock pistols at over 8 million units). If you are producing only a few thousand units and have to amortize those costs plus a reasonable return on investment on just those few thousand units then blammo...$9K.

For 10K you'd think they could give it the original finish, not black paint.

Take the 10K in gold sovereigns and go hiking in the back hills of Crete - you'd probably flush out a real one - or get your throat cut.:D
