I just received my Stag Arms model R1 from Armseast. Went to the range today, went through about 60 rounds. Quite frequently I'm have an issue where I'll fire a shot and then the bolt jams against the round so hard that the bullet gets pushed back into the case, thus jamming the rifle. Any ideas????

I had the exact same problem and the EXACT same fix (slapping the mags) when shooting my dad's Stag with C-Products mags. I wondered if it was a mag issue, but did not have any other mags on hand to try out.I had the same problem with my ar. The mags weren't sitting quite right, too much play. When the bolt came forward, the round would miss the "ramp" slightly, and the nose would push into the casing. I started "slapping" the mags from the underside when I popped them in and the problem seemed to disappear. They were cp products mags, and the steel seemed slightly thinner gauge than others. Maybe you've got a similar prob?
