Ruger 10/22 stovepipes and bolt not cycling.

I polished the hammer and the bolt, as well as the rod that the bolt handle and spring ride on. Everyhting cycles very smoothly by hand, I wonder, how did the guy who sells the Krinker kits make the 8 inch version work? The cnc machine shop that makes these kits in the USA sells a 8 in or a 16 in version. Obviously the 8 in version works for them in the States. Maybe they come with a lighter hammer spring? My version was the 16 incher, but I bought the 8 inch barrel from a website here in Canada. I prefer the look of the 8in version and since it is not for sale in Canada, I decided to make one myself, now if it would just work!!!!!!

My vote is to try the upgraded trigger return spring kit from volquartsen.

I have read that too, most people don't even recommend using it. Have you tried the rimfirecental boards, I am sure a bunch of people have krinker kits there.
