Here are my repatriated Long Branch No4 mk1*s. From BDL ltd. Although technically these were July purchases, the international shipping paperwork took a while. Actually it was the Registration that took the longest, American export paperwork and Customs just flew once I had all my sh*t together. 9 days including two weekends from his door to mine! I would not think twice about importing again it went so well.
Anyway the top rifle is a 1943, 5 groove bbl with grooved handguards, forend notched for cutoff and button style cocking piece and a long butt and the rifling is pristine. And of course all matching numbers. This one is my baby.
The second one is a 1950 LB, again all matching numbers and again pristine bore. This one is SN# 95L7888 placing it in the last 2500 LB rifles and the last month or so of production at the Long Branch factory.
Both still have plenty of cosmo to clean up, and will look even better after that's been done, but I couldn't wait any longer to post them.
Here is a close up of the receiver of the '43 with all it's mk1 oddities
