I've posted quite a lot of info about mine. Have a look at these threads:

I was not exactly sold on mine until I got the extended baseplates. After the initial honeymoon period I was like, "This grip is too damn small.. when are my extended baseplates coming in!" But since I got them it has totally turned around my experience with this gun. Now I'm starting to think that this is possibly my favorite gun. This weekend I was using it and I was really impressed with the results I was getting. I shot this group drawing from a holster, shooting the first shot DA, and then rapid firing the other 9 shots into the main circle:
I'd like to say that the high one out of the circle was the DA shot, but it isn't. It was one of the SA shots. Actually the DA on this gun is really shootable. You have to take up the slack to get good results, but that is the way it is with all shooting.
The picking off of the corners was something I was doing later, I missed the top left corner (high off the page) but I hit the others.
The big circle is 5 inches across (shot from about 10 yards). The small circles are 1 and 3/4 inch across, shot from the same distance.
Overall, I really like the gun. I find that with the extended baseplates I am almost pushing down on them with my pinky, but the grip is extremely solid the way I am holding it - total opposite of my experience shooting them without the baseplates where it felt like I was always at risk of losing my grip on the gun.
Personally I would way rather have a P2000 than a P30L. The P30 looks interesting, but I am not a fan of guns that are long off the front. My girlfriend shoots Berettas. She loves them, but I don't like the balance of long guns. The only thing the HK45 and P30 have on the P2000 is the better mag release. The side panels are not an issue (for me at least) on the P2000. The last thing I would want would be more plastic on the side of the gun. I use the "M" backstrap (which is on there when you buy the gun) and have never had the desire to try the "S" or "L" backstraps.
P2000s are great. Just order some baseplates unless you have hands no bigger than my girlfriend (her fingers don't touch the extended baseplate when she grips the gun).
