Desert Eagle vs. Huge Wild Pig!

Was this video cruel?

  • No, it was a feral hog hunt. That's the way they go sometimes; no problem here!

  • No, but it could have been handled better, and I’ve hunted hogs in dense scrub like this; I know!

I think you're mistaking me for someone else, sir!

You can't rush pig, sir, you can't rush pig. The pig will tell you when he is dead, but since you are looking directly at the pig, then he is most likely dead. You killed an innocent pig, sir! Shame on you!

Actually the Canadian Liberals are trying to copy this program y'all started in Texas. Personally I don't like the idea of retards hunting with hand guns but the bleeding hearts think hunting needs to be more "inclusive". I suppose I can see why you are happy to have this opportunity and it is good you are getting out.

.He is very articulate and creative and I think you all fell into the trap.It was never about the pig, just a tool to get the exchange going. The poster would say blue is red if they felt a great exchange could be had.Do another that was great.

Articulate?? He writes with the clarity and skill of an eight year old in an ESL class. :)

I think he's just some internet blowhard, who likes attention and doesn't have much going on in his life. Of course that's just my opinion, I could be mistaken although I doubt it.

haha, I agree 100%.

It's true. I have nothing better to do. And neither, apparently, do you guys! LMAO! Those of you who have never hunted hogs with a handgun in thick scrub, and are vehemently defending your idea that this hunt was somehow "wrong" are priceless. Not only are you the "pot calling the kettle black" in-so-far as your involvement with this thread, but you are also liars, because you have either never hunted this kind of animal, in this kind of environment, with a hand-gun, or "supposedly" have and you state that you are somehow immune from the effects of surprise, youth, and true, heart stopping, fear inside of a tactical scenario. Mr. Sociopath up there is my favorite. He kills all day long, has never hunted in this place, with this game, or in this fashion, and is just dying to tell us all about how "wrong" it is to kill a game animal because he's a "respected" scientist, and an Indian hunter too-boot! LMAO! Please, keep it up. I'm having a ball with you fellah's!

Don't let them get to you man. You are doing yourself and Texas proud. These Canadians need to get educated! Handguns, domestic pigs that are "wild", there is nothing that beats the shot of adrenaline a man gets by walking up to or (stalking) in, on one of these bruisers and then having to shoot it contiously until it drops.

Reading Comic books, and watching network television doesn't make you a scholar. Come on down and pet some of these nice domestic pigs won't you? I'll give you some free corn, and champagne to feed them.

They allow Champagne in Texas? You know that stuff's French right? Don't you at least have to call it "Freedom Wine"? :runaway:

Ooh, what a burn; way to get 2002 up out of the old folks home for a walk around the park! LOL.

Chip: Shouldn't you be filling out some paperwork right now instead of watching cartoons?

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't using the term domestic in a derogatory manner. Indeed I was simply making a distinction between wild boar and tame pigs that have wandered off. I realise I'm not the swine expert you obviously are and my own experience with feral hogs could not possible compare to these much more dangerous animals.

As for network tv... sadly we Canadians only have one channel(If we're lucky enough to position the miles of tinfoil wrapped around our antennas correctly) that is the CBC. Tommy Hunter, Front page Challenge and the Beachcombers, it's all we know. I for one, am thrilled a persona such as yourself has taken the time to educate us as to the finer points of hunting. I've never personally seen men hunting who behave like 15 girls(Until now) but I'm willing to bet it is a common experience for those who hunt such dangerous game.
