Another advantage with the BHP over a polymer pistol is case you need to pistolwhip the BG, a steel framed pistol is so much more effective.

Ahem. Good point. Another reason for the Sig P226.
Except that the P226 is not a steel framed pistol. The frame is alloy.....
how come no one is talking about the berettas ? Wouldn't the new 90-two be a good fit for the CFs ?
Y Since they already have the 226 in small number's just order 10,000 more and call it a day. (armoured/infantry first in line)
Oh oh Logic and military procurement process used in the same sentence, that will be two demerit points for you!!
Just how will we retain the bloated process if we use simple solutions like this?
Actually the Combat Engineers would need it more than the zipperheads. I kind of ignored that part and looked at the fact that we already have them in limited number and it would be a simple buy.
I had to say something - we do share at least part of our motto (Ubique) with the Engineers...
Except for the Engineers 'Ubique' means everywhere; for the Artillery it means all over the place!![]()
Careful. One day, you'll be walking down the street, then you'll be on your but saying "how'd that happen?"
Words Twice
Do the Canadian Forces, especially the Army need a newer pistol??, with the Canadian Army committed to Afganistan, and road blocks, vehicle search's and sucide bomber 's been the "norm," is it time for the troops to be issued with a more modern weapon than the Inglis 9mm?
