new money pit!

What I was getting at is that you can still mil with a non-FFP scope, and for the amount of times most people actually do it, it's probably more than fine. I'm betting 90%+ of recreational shooters have never range estimated with their optic, and/or haven't the slightest idea how to do it properly.
Myself, I like a very fine reticle (NP-R1), and would rather have the tradeoff on milling-annoyance. Of course, I'm only killing paper, and I'd be talking out my ass about my needs otherwise.

All I range with is reticle, and I much, much prefer FFP for obvious reasons. I use a TMR reticle, works just fine for precision, even at high mag.

Here's mine....bought from P&D as well. She's an excellent shooter....good choice azn! This rifle will be sporting a new AICS 2.0 in a week or so.

Thanks for all the great info guys. I am now planning on saving up for a nice NF scope or a lower end S&B even. Buy quality and buy it once is def. a good idea.
