The Unofficial Dominion Arms Outlaw Thread

Yes I realize that it would be under 660mm I am wondering how much under.

like how much bigger would it have to be to be non.

It would need to not be a pistol grip i think. it looks like the Terminator 1887 has about a 12" barrel, so you would need the stock to be about 14". Or make the barrel 14" longer, which would definitely not be as cool.

Do you really think the T2 1887 was that short? The Norc models Marstar has (had?) were listed as having a 22" barrel, and they weren't that much longer than the movie version. I'd say it was closer to 16-17"

my calculations give me approximately a 13.5 " bbl. So I would say its probably an even 14"

I'm assuming that my comparison photo, was of a 20" bbl?

EDIT: Nevermind, found a picture of a 30" bbl 1887, and compared it, looks more like a 16" bbl now.

If the barrel on this one is 16' then the OAL should be around 24.5". To get it to 26" a 1" longer barrel and slightly longer grip would be all thats needed, a longer mag tube for 1 extra round couldn't hurt either.

Isn't that the minimum OAL for non restricted?... That or 24, it's always so hazy with these regulations.

Edit - I would actually take one with a full length butt stock and enclosed trigger guard if it was available. I'm open to ideas though.

Personally I'd prefer a 12" barrel with a full stock. But maybe a 15" would look pretty good too with a full stock.

I couldn't find any info on the size of the T2 prop guns, but the airsoft replica is listed as being 672mm in OA length (evidently airsofters don't care about details like barrel lengths).

Edit: THIS one is listed as having an 18" tube, which looks damn close to the actual prop.
