CanAm, if you do get a run of the 1887's made, see if you can get them to fix the angle of the lever so it doesn't leave that small gap between it and the stock when closed. And since I already have one with a 20" tube, I'd vote for either longer (say 26" for use in the goose blind) or shorter (15").

If you can choose to have the Pistol grip stock even if it is restricted id still buy it. I know I'm a minority with that statement but its a thought.

I'd go with a lever action 12 gauge with a short barrel (shortet possible) and a reduced LOP stock. I have no use for pistol grip shotguns

i doubt it. these are close range guns. not alot of point to a choke in them as far as i know.
