How did TSE get one? (or some?)
Wolverine said next year?????
wow,..an HK45 and the P30-L for sale in the exchange forums,...both stating the grip is too small for their hands,....a feature I find extremely promising for normal to small hand shooters. Not sure when mine is coming in,.but I would be all over these if I wasn't waiting on my dealer/
I just closed the deal on one at Al Simmons yesterday.
Paulette had ordered a couple...one was presold, and she was holding the other one for me!...she is such a sweety!
I really liked the grip...I'm sure that with the options on backstrap and sidepanels, just about anyone short of a Yeti could find a combo that works.
I'm not sure about the thumb decocker on the back of the slide...not particularly ergo or intuitive, but should get better with time and use.
I have a USP Expert in 40S&W which I really like, but had to put the Hogue overgrip on it to make the grip less abrasive.
The P30, and the HK45, are definitely improvements over the USP..can't wait for the Ontario CFO to send my ATT to give this unit a go.
tell me what you think of using the smallest side panels and rear panel.
I have heard the grip is very 1911' ish..
How ridiculous is the DA trigger , compared to USP?
Obviously didn't have a chance to do a back to back comp with a USP, but my impression was that it was pretty much the same, sucka** length, pull weight, and quality.....
Double action firing is not this series of pistols (USP/P30/HK45) forte..for sure!
I'm interested to see how the grip on the P30 compares to the HK45 and USP. Hopefully I'll be able to check it out soon.
Those are some big mitts...
If mine doesn't arrive tomorrow, I'm going to start thinking they didn't send to the proper address or some CP employee decided to give himself an early christmas present at TSE's expense.
