Whats A Browning B92 Worth?

I once had a B-92 in .357 Mag. Nice looking rifle and fun to shoot. As long as you used .357 Mag brass for your loads. It had a nasty habit of jamming up on loads using .38 Special brass. Not good in a cowboy action match. Sold my B-92 after picking up a Win 94 AE trapper in .357 which doesn't seem to have the same issue with the .38 Spl casings.

That all said expect to pay $550 - $600 for one up here now in reasonable condition.

Sucks to be me. Got each in boxes. 44 is centennial model.
Think I paid 400 each about 5 yrs ago.

Browning Mod 92

When I was running the gun show in Riverview in the 1990's I found a new Browning 92 in the parking lot. Everyone was packing up on Sunday and I was going to get my car so I could pack up. I looked in the parking lot and saw a white box lying there. I figured some guy bought a gun and threw out the box. I went over to pick it up for garbage and it weighed about 7 or 8 lbs. picked it up and opened the box. It was a Browning OK but had engraved receiver with some gold inlay. I told the other gun I ran the show with Terry about what I found, so we decided we would check all the books and contact the people that participated in the show to find the owner. A guy from Quebec showed up just as we were closing up and he was in a sweat about loosing a gun. We made him tell us what he lost and his description was 100%. We wouldn't have kept the gun, we thought we would have to call everyone that was at the show to find the owner, and ship the dam thing to him. It was a relief to have him return, it saved us a lot of work.
Nice gun and I would like to have one some day. Poor bugger that left it behind was almost in tears because it belonged to a friend of his.

I have a 44-40 Winchester 92 manufactured in 1907, coming today the guy wants me to look at it and an early 94 Winchester in 38-55, a Model 95 Winchester in 303, and a Winchester 22 pump.
I love the 44-40's but would take a 92 Browning just because of the workmanship, and Browning has some extremely nice guns. They show up at some shows for around $600 to $700. If you want one just be patient and they always show up might take year or so but you will spend more if you can’t wait.

Levi; what are you smoking, mon?

Googled the B92 and a couple of U.S. gun auctions came up.

One was $1200 U.S. Another was $2500 but it was a matched pair of some sort.

I know they were worth about $700 ish new.

Thats what the numbers were I sold mine for $400 with a mini burris on it back in the late 80's, paid $450 new.
The one I saw at the show was sweet , and sold for $500 this was last year, was not as plain as mine was.
Not everyone is a gold digger, shop around :D

I would expect that sort of price.

My .357 will not feed with .38 Special length cartridges. If I use .38 brass, I just seat the bullets out to get the length needed.
