I hear you. Just following the advice from Lazarus 2000 to make the rifle a little bit more reliable. I'm not going to spend $2000 pimping a $400 rifle.

why not? considering a good scope mount will run around 200$ and maybe a cheek riser around 60$ and a decent quality optic lets say 500$, maybe an usgi stock for 150$ plus some internal tweaking (endless dollarssss) this rifle can be rendered good from albertatactical's opinion :D

oh but iron sights are fine ;)

You can get a comlete kit from Higgson Powder for under 150.00 and it will cut your groups in half if you neck size!

i was talking with my gunsmith and he suggested a rcbs kit was a multiple lifetime investment and would outlast any other kit...

Brownells got back to me and cancelled the order because: SIR: HAVE CANCELLED 093-000-015 AS THE MANUFACTURE IS NOT REGISTERED WITH OUR
DEPT OF STATE.

Apparently the springs are on their way.
I've ordered the Sadlak spring guide from FabSports.

Just as a note:

Something I discovered while tweaking the babies the other night is that the Sadlak Op rod spring guide WILL NOT fit into a Norc spring, at least none of the dozen or so that I have. I does fit quite well into the USGI springs however and is nice looking piece of kit.
