Canam...

A couple of questions... sorry if some are dumb... I don't know much about double barrel shotguns

- does it only have 1 hammer? ( looks like only 1 in the pictures )
- cocked each time, barrel selected by trigger?
- any safety?
- best practise for carry in the field?? loaded but barrels open?
- one bead centred between the barrels?

edited - weight??

OKH

I'd like to know the answers to these questions as well.

Are the hammers fully functional? Is there a safety? Separate trigger for each barrel?

What's the firing procedure? Open the action, load the shells, close the action, #### the hammers(?), pull the trigger?

:DI have a stage coach gun with a 20" bbl. that looks exactly like the one I ordered from CanadaAmmo.com except for 8" more barrel.

Can't get anything safer than an exposed hammer firearm as you always know when it's cocked.

There is a trigger for each barrel & if the one CanadaAmmo.com sells is the same as the full length barrel stage coach shotgun I own when you hit the uncocked hammer with a shell in the chamber and the trigger is not depressed the gun will NOT fire.

Are the outlaws coming in with the T97's? Or is it a seperate shipment?

You posted elsewhere that if an order comes in within 6 weeks of the promise date, you considered that pretty decent. If the outlaws are due in January, does that mean they may not actually be here until mid February?

I consider myself accurate if an order from China arrives within 6 weeks of the expected date. There are several countries and various agencies these must pass through. Each potentially adding a week if there are even slight issues. Not to mention the silly season is nearly upon us, with government holidays and low staffing levels.

Yes, barrels are $299, includes free action and stock ;)

I was quite pleased with the finish when I saw them.

careful now, wasn't it you that some guy got all pissy at a while back because of a little sarcasm:p
btw, i just placed my order for 2 of the single barrel units:)
thanks canam:dancingbanana:

me too, I am officially all ordered up. Still want to know if this has shell ejectors. I cant seem to get an answer anywhere?

Rest assured, it is highly unlikely that the shotgun will have ejectors - specially considering the price point. Moreover, hammer guns designed for CAS are generally equipped with extractors only.

The double does come with 2 hammers though. We got that straight earlier on. The single unfortunately only has one.

Why can't I see any pictures of the shotguns on the web page?? I can see pictures of all the other items on that page?? Is it my eyes or the CanAm web page??

****Ok, it was my eyes, or at least my browser. I can see them now.***
