Yes you are wrong,I think you and I look at hunting differently. If I am wrong I apologies this is only my opinion.
I believe you are a species Hunter, the more you have on your resume the more you feel you are a more accomplished hunter.
I hunt a very few species,I hunt white tails, bow and muzzle loader(shoot fawns and young doe's love the meat.)
Ducks and Geese, some times with decoys, some times jump shooting off rivers and ponds.
Crow calling, wing shooting them, one of my favorites
Ground hogs and pigeons at the farmers request.
Coyote tracking, the best hunting there is.
Turkey shooting fantastic.(not that smart)
Grouse shooting in the north for 5 days a year, interesting walking, difficult shooting no.
Pheasant farm shooting(notice not Hunting)
Rabbits why
Bears over donuts no (stalking them in BC might be interesting)
Moose to much work.
I have friends who have caribou Hunted, The Hunting was like shooting a cow, the fishing was fantastic. (Quebec)
What gives me a laugh are the guys that are shaking after they shoot a animal, wtf they jump around like they have got a cure for cancer.
Killing anything is not that difficult unless you are using your bare hands, lets not make it sound more difficult than it is.
As for our exchange I enjoyed are sparing back and forth without it we would be back to the real important posts, like what shot gun should I buy, what scope should I buy,if I take 4 rifles down to the shopping center do you think it would be a problem (wt f are you stupid)
We have different interest and that is what makes the world go around. As a Hunter my favorite thing is stupid Hunters they make it easier for us.
