Marstar-out of stock-today, tomorrow,forever

cooey? Meh. I'll try frontier tomorrow, but thanks all.

Elwood Epps had a Cooey model 60, bolt action repeater on their website for sale for $89 in the used rifle section. It would be worth a call to them to see if they still have it. An excellent .22 for plinking and small game. Made in Canada, and very decently accurate rifle. Listed on their bolt action, used rifle page as Item "UG25543" on the page link below.

Sorry, JW-15 on sale at frontier, but I'm not sure that if I had it to do over again I wouldn't have got a savage bolt gun from cabelas or a semi, then got him a wood stock later on. I really like the savage I have now.

But anyway, it's on it's way, and I appreciate all the choices. What's up with the cooey fascination?

I know I'm too late, but Trade ex (see site sponsers) have a big selection of used .22's in the 60 to 150$ range. Maybe this info will help someone else?

I know it doesn't have a wood stock, but SIR has Remington 597's with a scope included for $199. WSS has 597's with iron sights for $169.99. Really, a pretty attractive price for a decent gun that you can buy some aftermarket stuff for, including (for now) 30 round mags. Short of that, look in the EE; there are quite a few decent 22's there as well, and they do have wood stocks.

where is this place you talking about?
