My wife has been living full time in the US for the last six years; I've been commuting back and forth between BC and Montana for four of those years, and spending almost as much time in Montana as BC during that time.
I love it. Why would anyone assume that another x number of months would change my mind?
Maybe the better question is to ask you how long you lived in the US and where, and why you're so sure everyone would find it inferior?
What makes you think it was you I was referring to, when I said to send us a posting in the hot weather? If you would read the post I think you could plainly see that I was giving a direct quote on the posting from Ian_in_vic, who said he was going to retire in ARIZONA.
I can think of twenty or so, states I have been in, and if you add the time it would amount to years.
However, I am a proud Canadian, with very deep roots in our country and there is no possible way I would change my country for theirs.
