Based on what?
Mine has fired around 10000 rounds without cleaning (when I was a full time instructors when we switch from a revolver). The only thing that ever broked on it was a an ejector once. The gun fonctionned perfectly without any kind of cleaning or care. I have partners that have gone well beyond that.
It has been expose to rain, snow, dust, moist, heat and any kind of mistreatment you can imagine. It has been dropped on concrete many time (in high risk simulation). Just a few dings ans scratches that gives him caracter

!!! It just keep coming back for more bad treatment!!!
The gun is no worst and no better than any other tupperware gun. It does the job. I've never heard that one of my fellow collegue has been in s**t because of a failure of his gun. Never happened (I don't say it won't... god knows). I have mine since the past 7 years and it has shot what an usual cop would shoot in 20 careers. No problem at all and, remember, with very very minimal care.
You hear a lot of things on the internet and many are based on rumors or things that people have read. My opinion is based on real stuff that I have lived... and a few other thousands of my partners.
Just my 2 cents.
