What a bunch of bunk, PMags cost $15.00 USD, it takes about 2 mins to pin them' they sell in Canada for 45.00 or more, there is no way that is not cost effective, lazy yes, but definitely cost effective.
This is a sound business decision for Magpul. Why would they bother pinning mag for Canada when they are selling every P-Mag they make in the US ?
I work for a US company and lots of my co workers have had P-Mags from various retailers in the US. They are all waiting for their order to be filled. The panic buying in the US has caused an extreme shortage on most high cap mags, expecially the P-Mags
I'm not talking about Magpul, but Canadian dealers who cannot seem to be bothered with paying attention to their customers wishes.
Is there a dealer for pmags/magpul in Sask??
I am not sure it is the Canadian dealers that are to blame on the pmag shortage?? I have family in the US and they can't get mags...or stocks, or grips, or anything else from Magpul.
At some point, I would think they will start making more then demand, until then I guess it is a waiting game.

I do have a simple solution for blocking them, if any of the importers are interested, PM me. No more drilling them. Dave's surplus is already using my system with no issues. They initially brought in 100 pmags, unfortunatley local LE bought most of them. They will be getting more in very soon.
Is the CNC plastic block fixed to the mag somehow? I was under the impression that the modifications to "pin" or prevent more than 5 rnds from being loaded needed to be done in such a way that it could not easily be reversed...
Just curious... had a similar setup in a 15 rnd Beretta pistol mag and was advised that it was not a permanent alteration and therefore was not legal.
It is an acceptable method providing the Magazine base plate is permanently affixed to the magazine body
which is easy, drill a hole or if there is one allready there and pop rivet the bottom of the magazine so it cannot slide off.
does anyone know if there is a ready madehole on the bottom of themagpul mag's ??
