Stoeger Canada delays

Not to make light of your situation, but the fact is this: all Beretta parts must be imported through Beretta USA, or else they have to come straight from the Italian plant. Either way, the delays are quite significant if Stoeger does not have the parts you order in stock. We routinely order Beretta guns and parts from Stoeger, and it is not unusual for there to be a delay that takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks, to 4-6 months, depending upon product availability. The same goes for Benelli, Tikka, and any of the other European-based manufacturers.

Quite simply, this is becoming the norm for all international orders. And things are not going to get any better. With the UN marking system coming into effect in September (unless, God willing, we get another stay of execution!), and with anti-gunner Barack Obama taking office later this month, getting any gun parts out of the US will be even more difficult in a very short while.

Ordering direct from Italy usually takes about 3-4 weeks if the part is in stock, as opposed to taking an indefinite time from Stoeger. A lot of the Beretta owners in the US order direct from Italy as opposed to Beretta USA, again because of crappy service, lengthy delays and/or no stock on hand.

Ditto on the Un marking.
 
Stoegers can only stock so many parts, to keep every part possible is just impossible. as well if they need to special order a part they will wait until they have enough to make it worthwhile. there is al of paperwork to be done, and it just doesn't make sense to do it for one part. the screw up with your CC shouldn't have happened, but #### happens. their inventory takes forever as there aren't that many people working there and there is a ton to do.
also, Beretta is now only supplying the plastic/metal triggers. although Beretta Italy may still have some of the all metal ones. it was a bad day when Beretta went to a plastic trigger.

I have friends in Europe and when ever I requested something from them by mail it only takes a couple of Eur for a stamp and maximum 10 working days to arrive. A bit more money by DHL but the turnaround time is 3 days maximum.

Parts are always available and dealers of Italian firearms are plentiful over there.

I learned to bypass the delays that way.

I don't know gents, I have to agree, I had a huge ordeal with CS for Stoeger. I think those morons don't know their ass from a hole in the ground. I personally would never buy another Stoeger product based on the sh*t I dealt with. Peter? He is the worst person to deal with. Brent, sure, he seems ok, Peter, you might as well have a conversation with that pile of dogsh*t in your back yard, you will get the same CS. I personally talked with John Mock, he's the head cheesse over there, and he agreed there are problems with ole Peter. Also after discussing what my issues were, that I personally would never purchase another Stoeger product nor endorse one again based on the CS alone. Product is ok, CS is sh*te....

Anyone want John's contact information, drop me a line.

I have had one bad experience with Peter Smith and Stoeger. Thought he was a real dip s**t! But in the last 3 or 4 years Stoeger staff and even Peter have been O.K. Depends if I get what I want:D
 
Can we order Beretta parts straight from Beretta ourselves?

I placed an order with Stoger almost 1.5 years ago for a set of stock spacers for my Beretta 1201, and I'm still waiting. Those spacers are just thin, little plastic parts that could fit inside a letter envelope. So what's going on?:confused:

You mean mine isn't the only bolt Tikka bolt shroud ever to break?

Mine came factory installed with a broken thread inside the shroud. The bolt must have been dropped on the shroud end at the factory. When I tried to take the bolt apart for initial cleaning and lube the molded thread inside fell out in pieces.
 
so the missing part was the stainless trigger which they gave you the wrong one right? they charged you for that trigger and you sold it. why would they credit ur credit card if you never returned the part they charged you for? does that make sense to you?
