Russian SKS45 long thread.

curtton, I just got of the phone with my gun store and they did tell me again that Bell was were they were getting it from.:confused: they said I should have it by next week. I will be sure to put up pics when I get it.

Thanks for the update Marlin. I got to peek today at a crate and handle one in a local shipment. They look swweeeeettt! Nice wood, colour, well maintained and ....very...(star and arrow) RUSSIAN!. :D

Yep, there are some laminate, and they look like the Varmint Laminate Stock except darker. They are packed 5 rifles wide, 3 deep. The top row had one laminate stock, which was nice, but so were the other solid wood ones. The finish is fairly crude on some and you can see some brush lines. If thats the case on mine, im gonna give mine a final sand and finish, no big deal, these have already been coated a millions times. Get your 500-800 grit sandpaper and steel wool out if your real pickey ;)
 
Man I'm so glad I finally have mine. Enough of this waiting bull####.
I'd be choked if I had to wait this long again for a firearm.

the one crate you peeked into sound like refurbs . interesting 15 rifle to a crate .

may i ask you a couple of more questions? how many crates did you see and where are they going ?
