I've often called 7.62 x 39 "The new .303 British", as it is just as widespread around the the world as the old SMLE and other .303 guns in the olden days.

In fact, my brother met one guy on a surplus rifle forum who told of when his father bought and old 30.06 P17 after WWI, and couldn't get ammo for it very easily during WWII.

Right after I got my CZ 858, but I couldn't find ammo, I also joked that I would probably have to go over to Iraq and mug some insurgents for theirs'.

I suppose the government will also be supplying the Afghans with reloading presses and brass for those "bullets"
I might be able to help, I have a case of bullets. All they need to do is load them;)

Oh by the way, I have a No4 chambered to 7.62x39:D

Obviously it was a inside joke

Oh yes, really funny. Folks read that and stop dealing with a business because of claims they have been raided and have had ammo seized.
Why would someone spread a false rumor that a business has legal troubles?
If it causes a drop in sales, then that isn't funny.

Never mind . You obviously haven't been fallowing all the other threads about NRCAN not allowing the sale of some surplus ammo .
And what business are YOU talking about that has legal troubles ?
I don't recall mentioning anything about any business
Who is spreading rumors now ?
LOL

1) it was posted that ammo was seized from Lever.
2) that implied legal trouble for Lever
3) Marstar was a business that had trouble with an illicit raid
4) Put them all together bucko
5) Postings like that are not jokes

You are the only one putting all that together.
What an imagination you have.
