Russian SKS45 long thread.

Thanks - sounds like DHL stuff may be a little behind CP shipments. I've had signature required stuff left on the porch previously so will be glued to the house until it arrives.

Good point re junk/spam/bulk folder Val - have been checking it frequently. In fact, if you have the email address of the DHL notification handy and could post or PM with it, I'll add it to my whitelist so it doesn't get filtered :)

I just got my CP shipping notice email! #### yeah! My CC was charged on Jan 15.

However, I ordered ammo as well, but its shipping via CP? Maybe cause I only ordered 500 rounds.

I'm still hopefull, it's wearing thin though. Enjoy your rifles!
 
2907 posts! Yes lets hope #3000 is better than 1000 or 2000. Whoever posts it, please but some thought into it.
Hooray! I just got my CP email for my Frontier order. Should be here soon! Almost 1 year after my order.:rolleyes:
 
ok question for the experts -- how is shooting the thing without the bayonet? Is it better or worse accuracy wise?

I am debating if to remove the bayonet for general shooting.
 
Just found out by tracking Canada Post my 2 rifles (shooter and hand select) from Frontier had arrived and at my local post office. :D Expected delivery day was tomorrow.Thanks Marlin!!! I'll go to pick them up shortly...have to work for couple more hours :( If everything will go smooth I will post the pictures later tonight...
 
YEA JUST GOT MY SHIP NOTICE. I ordered ammo and it's a canada post notice. It also looked like my CC wasnt billed enough to cover what I ordered though. Also I moved and they shipped it to my old address. Good thing my parents live there. Well see what I end up with. Why do I get the feeling this wont end up good...

im no shooting expert but all SKS are design to shoot with the bayo on but you can give it a try and see what kind of a results you get .

i tried it and now i prefer to have my bayo on .

DHL tried delivering it this morning and they are about to come back with my Russian.
Not bad time considering I'm about as far west of Frontier as you can get.
I will have more info (and pics) tonight.
 
Got my SKS from Frontier VIA Can Post today. It wasn't supposed to be here until Friday, but I am happy!! :D

It has a few more dings than the one I bought from Milarm, but still very nice for the price...will post pics later tonight. Thanks to Curtton for "making" me buy one from Frontier as well as SIR.
