The quality of yours for a shooter grade looks awesome! It looked to be all matching except the forced stock, but I am tired so maybe I was seeing wrong.

Whoever gets the their select grade first please post ASAP!!!!! and advise on condition and if matching or forced matched...

Well ... Those are my 2 babies. One nonrefurb, the other a refurb.
Both matching serials on all parts.

**Not pictured, Anna Kournikova... she got packaged in with the rifles for the long wait**

The gas tube has another ep serial on the bottom of the tube that was ground off (you can still see it though). It occurred to me that they might have ep'd some of the harder parts right from the get go. I have some more pics but I forgot to take one of the top cover. To save the dial up folks I used links.

To me this looks like an unissued gun with some recycled parts, but I have been wrong before. Crap, its too nice to shoot.
 
Neat, both smartbombs rifles have bright bolts. Somebody is going to have to put together a database for future reference. Are you going to shoot them? I am seriously considering buying one of the painted refurbs to shoot.
 
Yep... I'll probably be shooting both of them, but I'm still open to the idea of not firing if someone gives me a good enough reason to keep them the way they are. My rationalization is that I'm never selling them, and thus won't care for it's degradation in value.

Yes, but it looks good. If I don't shoot it, what will I do with the two big green bricks in the basement?

Hand select means you get the best rifle out of what's left in the batch.
Shooter grade means you get a rifle that wasn't already taken during the hand select process. Apparently the shooter grades aren't too bad either.

My refurbished SKS apparently needs dremel work too. The little peg welded on the follower is a bit too long... so I'm only able to put 4 rounds in the magazine. Weird.
 
Has anyone else with ammo in their order (i.e. DHL not Canada Post) received their shipment *before* they received a tracking number?

I'm pretty sure mine went out over the weekend (CC charged last week) and have been watching inbox for something from DHL but so far no tracking number - don't want this left on the front porch ;)

How about Ontario residents? Anybody at this end of the country recieved their new toys yet?

I received my email yesterday morning. Checked it later and it said they picked up at 12:47. But nothing else yet. On Monday Marlin said DHL had to come back the next day (yesterday) to pick more up. Check your junk mail folder! Oh, and they are signature required so they shouldn't leave it.
