wow, what a PITA to get the trigger pins out.

btw, mine is the single barrel version

after reading the previous hammer issue i decided to pull the trigger out and clean it good, but damned if a couple pins won't budge:mad:

i got the most forward trigger pin out, but the rearward one bent my punch head:eek:

i managed to get one of the upper pins almost out, but not fully and the other 2 are not moving either, did they weld these pins internally?

my patience is wearing thin:kickInTheNuts:

Not directional pins by any chance?

they don't appear to, but they're out now, they just needed some wd40 to loosen them up:)

i'll post some pics shortly, the machining quality seems pretty good from my untrained eye, definately smoother than my grizz parts are, and it still functions fine.

Lol, too bad it doesnt come with an engrish manual.

"to remove pin trigger, use pleasureful direction abruptly"

I"m in ontario. Did you order a pistol with it? I ordered it and a pistol, and it was just the pistol holding things up, so they sent the shotgun by itself, didn't cost me any extra, as it was free shipping.

I got it the next day.

Nope, just the shotgun. It's sad really- they can see in their files that I'm licensed prohib, and the majority of my guns are restricted or prohib. Why they then feel the need to forward all my non-restricted purchases to the CFO for review baffles me.:mad:
I truly hate this province.

I'd love to see some disassembled pics. I want to take mine apart before I shoot it, but I have no idea what's inside or what's going to pop out :D

I sprayed a lot of action cleaner in it, and had a alot of shavings and crap come out. so I really want to open it up for a better clean.

at first I was having some issues with the hammer not locking back, but I think it's because I was contacting the trigger a abit as well. any pressure on the trigger and it wodn't lock back.

i'm no professional gunsmith, and the last hour or so proves it:mad:

trying to reassemble this thing is also a PITA!

stoopid chinese and their small fingers, jk lol:)

i swear if i get this back together and working it is never coming apart again.

anyone reading this who has one, could you please tell me how the hammer shaped washer is supposed to sit when its unchambered, just look at it from the side, don't disassemble it to find out:redface:

pics will be uploaded once i get this thing back together.

Got mine today - I cleaned the barrels and wiped off all the oil. Cleaned as much as I could with bore solvent, and then dried it off. I fired off a few rounds - the recoil is enough to make you notice, but as long as you hold the gun nice and tight, it is more than bearable. The short barrels are cause for slight concern though, as your fingers seem quite close to the muzzles...

It was dark when I shot, and the muzzle flashes off this thing are huge!!! The action is a little rough when you break it open, or at least I found mine a little stiff. The extractors pulled the shells out enough to easily remove them, but it would be so much nicer if there were ejectors...

Trigger pull is not anything to brag about - man, I pulled the trigger (and I gave one mighty flinch) and I didn't even fire it!!! The trigger pull is quite LLLLOOOONNNNGGGGG and gritty. Once I got past that, it was OK.

Honestly, it is about what I was expecting - it lacks the quality of higher end units, but the price is also substancially lower.

I think for the backpackers I'd just degrease it with solvent and compressed air then spray in some oil followed by another blast of compressed air....

That's the problem right there! They're trying to figure out why in the world you would want a non-restricted, short barrel, shotgun :nest:

Seriously, have you called the CFO's office... just to check if everything is OK... A little reminder couldn't hurt...

Otherwise you could always send one of those Freedom of Information request for your "provincial file...

As long as I don't get mine before yours, we'll:cheers: be ok

Just got mine today. First two thoughts...

1) This thing is bad ass

and

2) This thing needs a good wipe down.

no complaints other than the fact that the handguard doesn't perfectly line up with the bottom of the receiver. But it's not that noticeable, can't expect the chinese stuff to be perfect.

I'm happy :D
