Apparently mine"missed a transfer" so I have to wait until Monday... Sigh. Whatever! Pout! I am beginning to think I should have just bought one out here. Grrrr.

From the evidence I have seen in this thread the only difference is the price.
Just got mine in today. It's a hand picked Tula 1953. Looks to be all matching...not force matched. The star with arrow and date on top cover. The wood on the hand guard is a bit scratched up, but should be an easy fix. Looks pretty minty other wise.

I received mine today. Overall, it seems to be pretty nice. Mine was a hand select, and it appears to be a 55 or 56, as there is no date on the top cover. It is a refurb, and the only crappy thing is it is not a matching numbers gun (the mag is a mismatch-forced match with electro pencil). I think it has only been lightly used, but you folks can see the picture of the hammer - you be the judge. The stock appears to be the original (it is a laminate), as do all the other parts I have looked at so far (bolt, receiver, trigger housing, stock - #'s all match. Only the mag is different. Honestly, had I known this before, I probably would have went with a shooter grade, as I really wanted an all matching #'s gun. However, this one looks good and I am happy with it.

Check out my front sight.
Apparently my refurb from Frontier shoots a bit whacky, LOL..
Yeah, I am pretty impressed. My packages measurements are:
10 Lbs (47 x 47 x 47 in)
57 Lbs (14 x 14 x 14 in)
But I think they are like the unicorn....
