So here is step 1
Cut these large plates into smaller blocks

Like this

Then 1st machine operations gives us this

This is part way through 2nd operation, here the lower has been flipped over to machine out the opposite side of the lower. Needless to say there is still more metal to be removed.

I will post more photos as we get further along in the machining.
At the moment we are cutting the blocks and doing all the blocks into 1st operation only, then will do all of the 2nd operations, and so on.
More to come shortly.

Being like trained chimps, we do 1 thing at a time and then learn a new trick and do that 1 until it is time to change again.
That way you get same, same all time same, results

Yes, but sometimes the problem can't be measured until the final machining process and by then it is too late.
