No I did not swear at that young girl, its not her fault. I am very courteous and polite. Maybe that the problem. Someone instructed her on the shpeel that she game me.

I' am from Edmonton. The SKS shipment arrived since last week!. I hand picked 2. Both 1954r with matching numbers on the rifle. Milarm and Uncle Ed have it. I will post pic's tomorrow.

Looking forward to seein' the pics. Until my order shows up I might as well enjoy lookin at everyone eles'

shipped by canada post, no issues with that
BUT i am abit disappointed though, i ordered a crate of ammo with it and it didnt show up, instead there was a note stating that due to changes in shipping regulations they cant send me ammo
does anyone know if al simmons has any 7.62x39 in stock (and the price)?

yea i know that, but they already credited me for the ammo, so its not a big issue, but now i have a rifle and a pistol (tok) with no ammo for them....

p.s. yes i wore my genuine russian army belt with my 1945 tokarev in a holster and a rifle slung over the shoulder around the house for about an hour today..... just cuz i could haha

Military rnds have hard primers . Reloads & commercial have soft primers . which can cause slam fire in some surplus Military semi autos
A SKS without a firing pin spring (Like most of us have) could be a candidate

I have fired commercial hunting rnds in my Mini 30 with no problems . I'd have to check but I don't think there is a spring in the firing pin . Also fired lots of reloads in my AR15 & AR180 with no slam fires
