Elitest Hunter

guys who pay +25K to fly 1/2 around the world with guns that cost just as much to shoot an animal that lives in a pack of 2000 only to add another trophy to their wall

 What if there are bears?:runaway:

Ya, I likely should have opted for a heavier gun but I think at just over 7 pounds that I should be able to swing it pretty hard and at least slow him down. The KO factor of a 7 pound gun swung like a bat is pretty high but the SD sucks! I can run pretty fast scared though!

How would that make him an elitist? Seems to me it only makes him wealthy.....

Elitest: Guys who travel halfway across the world with rifles that cost $10 000, pay $10 000 for a hunt, pay $10 000 on hunting gear, bag the biggest moose of the season, and don't tip the guide.

Elite: The guy who puts up with the above scenario, and doesn't kick the elitest bastard in the nuts.

I've seen it, and it was not cool

never, ever, under any circumstances, EXPECT a tip from a client.

you'll finnish your hunts on much happier notes.

That was this guy's bad luck. The outfit I was with told me the same thing, and I had the same result: better hunts, happier clients, and no pressure on me to perform.

Still, I can see how a guy might have a tough time with it.

OK, I think I have it. An Elitist hunter/shooter is one who is condescending, sarcastic and generally looks down their nose at others they consider not of their "caliber". A small percentage, IMO.

This place used to be a hell of a lot better at getting rid of trolls.

Getting rid of trolls is not the moderators' job. Their job is to make sure that the rules are followed. Getting rid of trolls is the members' job.

The easiest way to do this is by not responding to the trolls' posts. Or at least not in a way that let's their drivel carry on. No take the bait. Troll go away.

why i dont pay 25k to drive 20 min to my duck swamp i don't just shoot them for a trophy and they sure as hell dont come in groups of 2000 around here.

Still not sure why any of that would make someone an elitest?:confused::confused:

It sounds to me as though you have some disdain for these wealthy travelling hunters and consider your reasons for hunting superior which would in fact make you the elitist hunter.......something to think about!
