Personaly I think its very anoying to ask for an update every three days. I am not speaking in anyones behalf but my own, but come guys and girls lets cut the man some slack do you not think that he whats to get his product out to us. I am sure no business likes to tie up thousands of dollars.

I agree. I'm sure when he has an update he will post it. Begging for updates won't make things happen faster. I'm sure that John wants to sell you these rifles as badly as you (and I) want to buy one and when they are ready he will let us know right away.

Just relax and go shovel some snow or pick up an overtime shift to pay for the sucker. They'll come when they come, not a moment before and not long after :)

Well is has been a couple weeks.

There are pro's and cons when dealers announce products they are bringing in. The advantage is they get to drum up interest and in a way pre-sell a good portion of their stock so when it arrives they can move them out quickly. The disadvantage is dealing with eager and impatient customers who expect things to happen as promised, the trick is making sure to keep people informed when stuff isn't on time. It's a tough balance to maintain and I understand John's frustration with people with the constant updates, but that's the price to pay for having a forum to advertise in. I'm sure he understands everyones eagerness to see them arrive too, it's not like he's hoarding them to piss everyone off, but it would be nice to have an update.

Dad........., are we there yet? Are we there yet??? :p

If you post stuff on a public forum to help sell your products well then you have to expect people to ask questions being annoying or not. It has been a couple of weeks however since the arrival of the said guns. The marstar fan club will now defend his non-reply.

Canam and other dealers get asked the same things everyday about arrivals and they dont take offence nor get all bent outta shape when someone questions or asks the seller like someone else:rolleyes:

You guys know Marstar has a website, right? And that you can visit it to see if the rifles are here yet?

That's a real neat feature.

update then? :stirthepot2:

Bwahahaha

They will get here when they get here, updates are great but take them with a grain of salt (big one).

I am sure Marstar wants your money and will take it at their earliest convenience.

Anyone here anything about when the non-restricted ones are getting here ?:stirthepot2:

that must be a joke.... right?

half of marstars inventory is "sold out" even when its in stock... that site needs a major update

OK ON THE Vz-58;
A few words to bring you up to date,
1) they arrived in Canada just over four weeks ago....
2) Canada Customs took three weeks to clear them....
3) Trucking company screw up delayed the shipment further, container gone to wrong city.
We now expect them here in a few days....
John

Here's the update from January 15 so Deckard is mistaken to think the Somali pirates got the guns.

No man, speak the truth. The guns got shipped to Nunavut and the polar bears looted the truck. Now the RCMP is trying to track down the VZ-58 armed bears and charge them with possession of firearms without a license.
