Oh marrone - 11 lbs without a scope or belly full of ammo! A few criticisms of the blueprint, not the 'smith... The barrel is too long, the rifle too heavy and the trigger too light.
Apparently it isn't to heavy, long or light for the guy that paid for it. I would have built it in 375 Ultra.+1
looks like you did some fine work, but I can;t quite understand the use of HB H&H in a varmint stock...
.375 H & H Magnum Shilen 26 inch barrel on a trued 700. One inch muzzle - 11 pounds in a Sendero stock, glassed and floated trigger 2.5 pounds.
Easy on recoil with lots of smack at the other end.

Hi mackiilan, where ya been?? Senderos are a big game rifle with an HS stock and yes they are heavy but it is a good stock choice for this cannon IMO
So where's the Sendero?![]()
Amphibo referred to it as a varmint. I have a new sendero in 7mm rem mag with a nightforce and I plan to pot shot gophers with it but Ive never heard it called a varmint gun. You can see mine in this pic.

I like the look of this gun. Its a beauty

Back to the topic at hand...what's the intended use of the rifle? I'm still having difficuty with the blueprint, not that it really matters..
I suppose if someone wanted it lighter down the road the bbl could be cut back to 21" and some big/wide flutes cut in the bbl.
How much do you think that would take off?
