help with buying a gun from the US

Hello,
I am a total newbie at buying and selling guns. I have bought a couple in Canada but none outside. I want to buy a FN PS90(or maybe an FS 2000). As far as I can tell, it is legal to own in Canada with a regular PAL license. I cannot find anyone in Canada to buy this gun from. So I figure I gotta go to the states.
The problem that I face, is that I hated stupid borders and all their rules. What do I need and how do I go about buying a gun from the states? When you answer this, please remember that I was in the slow class in school(actually I was haha), so explain it thoroughly. Also please tell me if you know of any place in Canada that sells guns like this. Thankyou

I'm sure someone will correct me where I'm wrong but the process goes something like this.

1. Setup to purchase firearm from a dealer in the US who has his FFL (Federal Firearms License)

2. Get an export permit (form DSP-6) from the US State Department

3. Get importation permit from Canada Imports

4. Assuming you are successful with step 2 and 3; Have firearm sent to border and ensure a FRT number is setup for it (assuming its new to the country)

5. Take possession

The State Department will be your problem with bringing a PS90 into the country. I called them near a couple years ago to do the same thing and was told it'd never happen. (see all the other tomfoolery when it comes to export permits and the US)

Are you guys telling me that Bull pup designs are illegal in Canada??? I don't doubt that you know more about the rules than me. I just thought that it would be legal because it fits the criteria for a normal license. the barrel is legal length and the overall gun length is just over the legal minimum. So why would it be illegal?

I believe it works like this regarding bullpups;

Bullpups are prohibited unless the firearm is unable to function without the stock.

You've reversed 2 and 3 - you need the DFAIT import permit to get the US export permit. And you can't get the US export permit, the exporter has to do it. Most (basically all) US dealers won't, so you're SOL. Hence the Buffalo Gun Centre, who will do it, but who will charge for their service and for the fees they have to pay to the US authorities.

The only feasible way right now is with an organization setup/registered to do it, which essentially means Questar or BGC.
