Bought a Russian sks today. I was not happy with the refurb ones they had in crates, the finish was ####, and the bolts were renumbered with an electro pencil. I moaned about it, and was shown an unissed one with matching numbers for the same price, the difference was like night and day, lovely blue and beautiful wood. I paid $199.

A quick pic of my hand select from Frontier. Got her a few weeks ago and cant quite tell if she is unissued or unfired or what not. She will be fired this Saturday though.
Niiiice ..Funny Frontier told me that they did not exist.

I think all of us out West are Red Necks, I am a BC boy living in Alberta. If I could still have a gun in the back window of my pick up, I would. My SKS and my stainless lever would be my choice of all of my guns to display.
I canceled my SIR order today. Called Epps. Got two. They'll be here monday.
