Just checked AGAIN on the TF 1-08 order, which was paid for back in Aug 2008. The current official word is that they are finished production but now waiting for engraving, apparently 300 orders ahead of ours, and the engraving is sub-contracted out to a one-man show. Sarah at Tetragon says "It is what it is." Nice. Many of the guys that ordered are getting really pissed; if there was a chance that delivery was going to take so long they should have stipulated from the beginning. Not impressed.
we've been waiting for these things forever. everybody wanted single stack single action but they wouldnt offer us that option so we all got single stack and LDA (i think?). the dudes are getting pissed about the wait that's for sure.

Paid for back in August 2008? For the CF Appreciation Program, we were not charged/billed until they were in the hands of the distributor for delivery.
the TF-108 order is has no connections to the Canadian Forces order. the TF-108 order was started so that the guys that was on 1-08 can have a keep sake for the tour. we paid for them before the order even went out.
no doubt, in the email i got they said no set time for delivery. from getting them right after we get home (Oct.) to dec, then mid jan, and now no set time.
i'll be getting my Type 97 before these pistols and they were made in china and has to travel half way across the world.

Which offer?,, the CF Appreciation offer, or the TF 1-08 offer?
Best to join the Para Forum and ask there. There are numerous different group offers. The CF offer for 2009 should be announced soon (Words Twice is the contact for that one).
We are having some registration issues on the Para Forum. Part of the problem is that everybody needs to be verified (usually by me) before being granted access to the forum but right now the link between new registrations and the moderator functions are not working.
Send me a PM here with your details and I will try to sort you out.

Yes, but there are several other ways I can also verify your service. By far, the easiest way is to register on the Para Forum using your @forces.gc.ca e-mail address. Once you are registered, you can access the forum from anywhere. Although I am the "gate keeper" for CF members and former members access to the forum, I am easy to satisfy.
