Shok Buffers

I had one come on my 1911c from Armco and it never had problems cycling. I guess it's hit and miss based on each gun. My guess is if it's to thick it causes jams but i never experience one.

The gun still has the shok buffer on it, and still works fine

I miss that gun, hope it's treating you well. Trying to find a replacement for it, it's left a big hole in my collection.

It's an awesome working little gun. Had it out this weekend.

In the Star PD version of the 1911 design, they came from the factory with them. You would beat the frame up pretty quick without them. I use them on my aluminum framed guns, haven't really bothered with the steel ones. - dan
