This $99 special has GOT to be the BEST $99 ANYONE on this forum has ever spent on a toy :)

I LOVE this thread as well, cant wait to get back from my trip to shoot it..lol i have had it almost a month and NEVER shot it, went to the range and left the trigger lock key at home... i flew out the next day for my vacations lol

i did notice some shops in Hong Kong had the holsters for sale for the 213 or the T33 actually, some blk and tan, I plan to buy them tomorow and will post pics once i am back in BC ;)

wow they have metallic airguns..1:1 ratio, very VERY nice looking for only like $5-$6 dollar CDN...yes FIVE bucks, ie $35 HKD for Full METTAL 92F, 1911, P226 etc etc all 1;1 models which rack and shoot hehe

i should pick up a P90 or MP5 and gut it to fit my 10/22's lol

Just got back from the range with my $99.00 SportArms Tokarev 213
Very Very pleased, not one F**K up worked like dream with everything I fed it.
Fired off 300 rds no problems and everything hit the paper some of the best shooting results I've had personally.
Would love to post up a target but haven't figured that out yet but you'd be impressed.

Finally got to shoot it. ~60 rounds, no issues. Shoots about 3 inch groups at 25 yards. It needs some windage adjustment because it shoots 3 inch to the right at 25 yards. I was using 147gr Federal FMJ. Very pleased for a 99$ gun. Can't wait to see how my next 2 M213's will do.

Was that freehand or using a rest? If you tell me it is freehand I'm going to sit here and gnash my teeth in frustration since my old guy nerves and muscles can't hold to that tight a grouping. Hell, my old guy eyes would have trouble picking out the damned bullseye spot at 25 yards rest or not.... OK, now I'm officially MAD!

:D

Rest or not that's a darned fine grouping. Since even with a rest there's no way to control it so the gun is in exactly the same position each time unless you clamp it to the table and bolt the table to a big boulder.

I tried using my distance glasses one time but while I can see the target just fine with them my view of the front sight goes blurry. So it's a win-lose or lose-win situation depending on if I'm wearing them or not. Add em up and the wins cancel for a lose-lose.... :D

I know you're an old curmudgeon :p, but have you tried using those 100 meter rifle targets, with a square for a bull?? I find them at Wally world all the time. I shoot better with these using a pistol, might help you as well.:)

I shot freehand (using 2 hands), then to see if it was me pulling the shots to the right I then shot with my arms spread over the counter for better support, it pulled to the same windage but a tiny bit higher with the same grouping results.

The front sight is very narrow so that helps with accurate aiming.

It's a nice gun to shoot. The trigger feels lighter than my Glock (which is my primary gun) which has a NY2 trigger (~8lbs).

My Norkarev has arrived. Took it apart to wipe off oil. Will rinse it in Varsol and then oil with CLP.

A few first impressions, comparing it to a Tokarev in 7.62x25.

Nork barrel is blued. Tok is white.
Tok has lanyard ring on mag. Nork does not.
Tok has better trigger. Nork is better than I expected, and should improve.
Nork has a matt rib length of frame.
Tok has smooth-topped frame.
Norc has a funny owner’s manual written in Chinglish.

Will shoot both this weekend and report.

Here is what came in my box. I think this box is different than others I have seen posted here:

Pistol was stripped and swished in Varsol, then well oiled with Break Free. It is much smoother now. A gritty feel is gone.

I did a quick function test at 15 yards using some mild handloads with 125gr cast bullets. 100% ignition. Bullets went about where they were aimed.

So far I am impressed with this as a $99 plinker.

I discovered one problem with these today....

they dont like the 147grain flat nosed style ammo, the slight difference in shape for the flat nose, causes the bullet to jam between the feed ramp and the firing pin. The 115 and 124 grain with the standard shaped bullet seems to feed fine though. With the 147 grain, I couldnt even chamber the first round.

I just got back from a quick trip to my clubs outdoor range. I was short on time and was testing some loads in my .45 but managed to run 4 quick mags through my M213 with no hiccups at all. I'm looking forward to being able to spend some more time with it when the weather gets a bit warmer to really wring it out with a few hundred rounds. So long as it keeps functioning as intended then I'm a happy camper! Thanks to the folks at Canada Ammo for putting this deal together! This $99 pistol has generated a lot of interest and feedback (both good and bad). I hope Canada Ammo can be encouraged to continue to offer the Canadian shooters similar bargains as they come available.
