I got mine yesterday. So much oil all over the gun... i have to completely strip it and clean it out.
Anyways, just out of curiosity... For the people that have been waiting since December, do you guys currently own any other restricted firearms?
I ordered mine on Jan 7th and got mine yesterday but I think it might be because I already own a restricted firearm....

I have over 11 restricted and 2 prohib....I ordered mine on the 6th of Jan...it is still down as processed.
So the government is on you.

I've been lurking the forums for awhile. I was very surprised when I found this one. I was looking for cheap .303 ammo and wandered to CanadaAmmo. When I saw the Norc ad I called them and asked if they were serious. So I bought one - 15 JAN 09. Bought another 16 JAN 09. Queued changed to PROCESSED (with an e-mail) today.
From some of the posts, I'm looking forward to coming home from work and finding two grease stains on my front porch where my guns used to be.
Actually, I am looking forward to taking them to the range and comparing them to the S&W 9mm.
This thread has been a GAS to read. (I hope I do have to sign for them when they arrive.) Thank you for the great information both here and in the other areas.

I got mine from the post office finally.....
I dont remember seeing it anywhere in the thread before, but is the "safety" on this thing decoration only? after taking it apart, it doesnt pivot on a pin, it looks like its fixed into a triangular hole solidly
not that I'd ever use the safety, but it definately looks ornimental on this. awesome $119 so far though, cant wait to goto the range this weekend

The thumb safety is rather stiff but perfectly functional on my gun.
As you said, no big deal without safety.

is it bad that I woke up this morning, and while getting ready for work I had the overwhelming urge to strip the 213 down? I decided not to, as pulling it out of the safe and doing that would have made me late for work, but it was tempting.....
I wish I could get to the range before sunday, I want to test this thing out.
oh ya.... mine doesnt seem to have any sharp edges like my norc 1911 had.... it does have hand stamped lettering that is crooked though, made me laugh almost as much as the manual.
