Russian SKS45 long thread.

I have my SKS and ammo, but I have been working 24/7 since they arrived. I am out at the range next weekend come hell or high water.
On a brighter note, I am getting really good at stripping them and putting them back together.
Working on speed tests...lol

I asked SIR how my order for two $169 rifles was going. they asnwered:

"Good morning. From what I know, we are still waiting for the distributors to send them to us. We have placed orders with several distributors, and once they do come in, we will be shipping them out. I don't have any exact dates for you at this time."

---- I really can,t figure them out regarding these SKS,s ,---- I have been dealin with them for Years and never seen any problems like this, --- I don,t have a SKS ordered from them, But still find it Very Strange, all this is going on ??? !!!

I wonder if SIR was having financail difficulties and the suppliers refused to ship? That would explain the delay.

i better inform you of cabelas financial health before your wondering becomes a full blown rumour .

cabelas just reported profits higher than wall street expectation . it seems obama victory is good for cabelas .

Elephant, is that one of the bipods from Trade Ex? if so, which one? Im not sure I want to pay shipping to experiment with the spring loaded clamp on type they are selling (I anticipate shipping would cost as much as the bipod itself)

Yes, that's the one that attaches to bayonet mount. BPSKSS for $30. I paid 81.36 for two bipods, tax and delivery.

Any of you guys removing your bayonets to mount a bipod and want to part with it shoot me a pm . I have a project I'm working on & need a blade bayonet

I agree with the good things said about Trade-x . I bought a SVT40 & had a small issue with it & they said send it back & they sent me a replacement no questions asked
