Powder burn on stainless

What is the best way to clean powder burn from a stainless revolver?

Hoppes used to have a Gun Wipe cloth that would clean like crazy, including take blueing off a gun. I have some of these that I use only for stainless guns, they work great but I haven't seen them around lately.

G96 and a polymer brush (toothbrush would work). I had this problem with a new to me Sig 226. The seller disclosed the powder residue. Said he couldn't get it off. I sprayed it with G96, let it sit a couple of minutes, then went to town on it with the polymer brush.

Came off almost immediately

Thanks! I just wanted to double check. It is a Dan Wesson 445 supermag in stainless and I don't want to mess it up.

i use never-dull (canadian tire) with great success. flitz is supposed to be good to albeit a bit more messy.

If on a budget:
Baking Soda/water mix into a paste, brush on and rub.
Goes real fast is using a Dremel tool with a felt wheel.

Kleen Bore de-leading patch. Works great for stainless steel, but don't ever try to use it on a blued surface!

Flitz, Flitz, Flitz.

Heard about it on here, couldn't find it anywhere and then this past weekend at the Ottawa boat and sportman show they had a booth. Flitz made it really simple (still some scrubbing) but I couldn't get thoses darn rings off the cylinder with any solvent until I used Flitz. The guy at the show is based in Osgoode only minutes form Ottawa.
