Norinco 1911 Police Model and NP58 now IN STOCK.

I replaced the plastic grips with Hogue, and the sights are not night sights. It came with extra trigger bar and slide catch springs.

i just bought the 2 tone from Chris today and it looks awesome, trigger has no creep after the initial impression. It's crisp and not too heavy. Probably around 5lbs by my estimation. The sights are also not so great. They look like whiteout on a black background. However, new sights + polished trigger will make this thing awesome. The slide fit very snug as well and the parts seemed like they were very well made. I can't wait to shoot it tomorrow.

If you could take the thing apart, and take a picture of things like the barrel bushing, slide rails, and measure/guestimate the clearance at the barrel hood that would be great. I bought a nork 1911a1 as my first pistol, and the rear of the barrell was so loose in the slide(side to side play and up and down) that the group would wander 6" in all directions at 25 yards. The insides look like someone machined them on a wobbly drill press, or with an angle grinder.

my order has been queued for over a week now.. how long does this usually take? also do you have access to .22 caliber conversion kits?

JOOC.... for you guys that have received your 1911 Police Model in the past week or two.... when did you place your order? I am starting to get antsy.
 
Damn. I submitted my order Jan. 31 and it is still only "processed". I called the CFO and no transfer has been started.

I'm with ya CanuckShooter (actually ahead of you by one day). I ordered my two-tone 1911 on Jan 30th and it was processed Feb 16th. Still nothing. Doing my best to be patient :bangHead:

I ordered my 2 tone 1911 on Jan 24th and its still in the processed stage....I'm getting pretty antsy myself!!!!......Do we have to call the CFO ourselves???....I thought they would contact us!!!
 
I just checked and my order status is "complete"......I'm hoping this means it is ready to be shipped out.....FINALLY!!!.....I'm excited!!!!
 
For me I think it has been over 2 weeks since it was processed, but It's not completed yet.

edit: make that 'over 3 weeks'

I hate to sound like a whiner, but seriously, is anyone else getting very upset seeing how fast the people who ordered the $99 Norcs are getting theirs? It's bad enough to wait over a month and a half for an in stock item, but it is FAR worse when other people who ordered weeks after you already have theirs, which cost 3 times less than the product you have ordered (not that price should matter, but still).

I seriously can't even read that $99 thread anymore. It just angers me everytime I do.

I got both the 1911 and the $99 Norkarev. I ordered Jan. 16 and they shipped today.
 
Exactly. Some people ordered mid Feb and already have theirs. I just don't get why orders are not dealt with in the order they are taken. Some people placed their orders about a month after yours and already received their order.
 
At this point most of the delays are due to transfer time or the CFO not notifying us. We process all orders by order number and ship onces the CFO notifies us. There are a few orders that may have been missed and we processed recently as well.

Thanks for the response. My order was processed mid Feb, so I called last week, and then again today to check if there was a transfer started and both the CFC and my CFO said they had no transfer initiated from CanadaAmmo. Maybe the order got misplaced in the shuffle or something?

Give us a call, we likley have the ref#. Very often the CFC can't find it.
